CAVILAM, Alliance Française of Vichy, is a language school affiliated with the Université Clermont-Auvergne. CAVILAM is one of the most prestigious language schools in Europe, with 4,000 students every year from 120 countries.
This program was specifically designed for French teachers in Louisiana (immersion or French as a second language) to help them hone their pedagogical skills. Selected applicants receive a $2,500 stipend to cover their tuition fees, travel expenses (including plane tickets and train tickets from Paris to Vichy), and accommodation.
