OUR FILM STUDIO

Since 2022, we have produced five original short films (narrative or documentary) through our film studio, Nous. Our work in film got us invited to the Cannes Film Festival in 2024, and our goal is to keep releasing one short narrative or short documentary a year to keep creating original — and contemporary — content in French and Creole in Louisiana.

Our latest short documentary film, Musique(s), Le Documentaire (20’), was presented for the first time at the New Orleans French Film Festival on March 16, 2025. Produced part of our Musique(s) project with the Library of Congress — a project aiming to document the centuries-long tradition of singing in French and Creole in Louisiana — this film showcases six musicians and musical ensembles. We would also like to thank CreateLouisiana and the Jazz & Heritage Foundation for their invaluable support!
