WORKSHOPS!

BACK THIS FALL.

We are pleased to work with L’Union Française — established in 1872 making it the oldest language school in Louisiana! — to offer joint thematic workshops and conversation classes in the French Quarter.

  • Our thematic workshops (1 session a week for 2 to 6 weeks) are held from October to May in our beautiful French Quarter gallery space. As curators, producers, and publishers, we want to invite our audience to reflect on our cultural productions to support French and Creole in Louisiana. For this reason, the thematic workshops we offer are typically in line with the themes of our new exhibitions or releases (books and albums).

  • Our conversation classes (1 session a month) will be held once a month starting October 2025. They will take place in a secret French Quarter location (and trust us: it’s going to be amazing).

CLASS CATALOGUE (2025-2026)

  • Themes + dates for this new season will be announced here (and on L’Union’s website) in mid-August 2025. Stay tuned!

  • Our previous workshops included classes on Québec (“Le Cinéma québécois des origines à nos jours”), Haiti (“Haïti à travers les arts”), and La Nouvelle Vague (“Le Cinéma de la Nouvelle Vague”) which we curated in-house with L’Union Française and our teacher Manon Bellet.
